Neil Blumenthal, Co-Founder and Co-CEO

Neil Blumenthal has served as our Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer since 2010, as a member of our board of directors since May 2009, and as the Co-Chair of our board of directors since June 2021. Prior to co-founding Warby Parker in 2010, Mr. Blumenthal served as director of VisionSpring, a nonprofit social enterprise that trains low-income men and women to start their own business selling affordable eyewear to individuals living in developing countries. Mr. Blumenthal currently serves on the board of directors of Allbirds, Inc., a footwear and apparel company, Sweetgreen, Inc., a mission-driven food brand, and the nonprofit organizations Warby Parker Impact Foundation, the Partnership Fund for New York City and RxArt. Mr. Blumenthal also serves on the board of advisors for the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and Responsible Innovation Labs. In addition, Mr. Blumenthal sits on the leadership councils of Robin Hood and Tech:NYC. Mr. Blumenthal has also served as a General Partner of Good Friends, LLC, a venture capital firm, since September 2019.

Mr. Blumenthal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dave Gilboa, Co-Founder and Co-CEO

Dave Gilboa has served as our Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer since 2010, as a member of our board of directors since May 2009, and as the Co-Chair of our board of directors since June 2021. Prior to co-founding Warby Parker, Mr. Gilboa worked at Bain & Company, Inc., a strategy consulting firm, from September 2003 to October 2006, and at Allen & Company LLC, a merchant bank, from October 2006 to May 2008. Mr. Gilboa currently serves on the board of directors of the nonprofit organization Warby Parker Impact Foundation. Mr. Gilboa has also served as a General Partner of Good Friends, LLC, a venture capital firm, since September 2019. Mr. Gilboa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Gilboa is a member of the Aspen Institute’s 2016 Henry Crown Fellowship class and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Rob Franklin, SVP, Ecommerce and Growth

Rob Franklin joined Warby Parker in 2022 as the Senior Vice President of Ecommerce and Growth, leading Product Management, User Experience design, Consumer Insights and Performance Marketing.

Rob brings over 20 years of ecommerce leadership experience across a variety of verticals focused on driving business growth, managing P&Ls, as well as building and managing product and tech teams. Prior to joining Warby Parker, Rob was the SVP of Ecommerce at Peloton where he managed the company’s $2BN+ ecommerce business as they expanded into new products and new markets. Before Peloton, Rob spent four years at Amazon building and scaling the largest print-on-demand apparel business globally.

A native of the midwest, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.

Sandy Gilsenan, SVP, Retail

Sandy Gilsenan joined Warby Parker in 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Retail. In her role, she oversees all retail operations as well as the expansion of vision services.

Prior to Warby Parker, Sandy was the SVP North America for Sweaty Betty USA, where she managed the company’s wholesale program and all U.S. store locations. Before Sweaty Betty, Sandy spent 14 years at J.Crew where her last role was Vice President of Store Operations for J.Crew Retail, J.Crew Factory, and Madewell; before that she was the Regional Vice President for J.Crew Northeast and Canada.

Born and raised in San Francisco, she attended San Francisco State University and studied English. During college, Sandy started her retail career at The Gap. Over her five years at Gap Inc., she held multiple store and corporate operations roles for both Banana Republic and Old Navy before moving to J.Crew.

Stephanie Pullings Hart, SVP, Operations

Stephanie Pullings Hart is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations for Warby Parker and is responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service.

Prior to assuming this role, Stephanie was the Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Beyond Meat.

Stephanie spent 23 years at Nestlé, where she held roles in manufacturing, research and development, and human resources—most recently as the Vice President of Manufacturing-Ice Cream, Nestlé USA.

She currently serves on the boards for Sanibeads® and the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), and is a member of the IDEA Council for Rodan and Fields. Stephanie holds an Executive MBA from Benedictine College and Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University.

Chelsea Kaden, SVP, People

Chelsea Kaden is the Head of People at Warby Parker, leading talent strategy and operations for the company.

Prior to joining Warby Parker in 2019, Chelsea spent over six years as the Vice President and Global Head of Total Rewards and People Operations at Gerson Lehrman Group, a technology-enabled learning platform that connects top professionals with experts. From 2006 to 2012, Chelsea was a director of human resources at Investment Technology Group where she held various roles across benefits, compensation, and HR operations. Before that, she was a health and welfare benefits consultant at Fitzmaurice Companies.

A Philadelphia native, Chelsea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.

Lori Krauss, SVP, Chief Marketing Officer

Lori Krauss’s first professional decade was spent at Donna Karan, Giorgio Armani, and Vera Wang—all in assorted Marketing and Communications roles.

She then embarked on her second act at NIKE, INC., where she spent the next decade in Brand Management within apparel and global energy, and led Brand for NIKE East and at Cole Haan.

In 2013, Lori joined Warby Parker. In her role as Chief Marketing Officer, Lori leads the Brand Management function which focuses on creating and promoting the images, stories, and experiences that drive, elevate, inspire, and expand the Warby Parker brand and business.

A native New Yorker, Lori graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan—which she attended concurrently, studying fine art, theatre, and fashion.

Steve Miller, SVP, Chief Financial Officer

Steven (“Steve”) Miller has served as Warby Parker’s Chief Financial Officer since 2011. Prior to joining Warby Parker, Steve served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Majestic Research, a pioneering data-driven research firm where he led the successful sale of the company to ITG (now part of Virtu Financial).

Previously, Steve served as a Vice President of Comerica Bank’s Technology and Life Sciences Division, where he opened the Bank’s New York office. He began his career at Monitor Company, a strategy consulting firm, and served as an Urban Fellow. Steve is on the board of Ubuntu Education Fund, a nonprofit health and education provider in South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University.

Kim Nemser, SVP, Chief Merchandising Officer

Kim Nemser is the Chief Merchandising Officer of Warby Parker, leading merchandising, planning, product development and product strategy for the business.

Before joining Warby Parker in 2016, Kim started her career in finance working as an analyst for UBS Investment Bank and then moved to BAAM, the hedge fund arm of The Blackstone Group. After four years in finance, Kim pivoted to work in the fashion industry, where she worked for two years at Tods, a luxury Italian leather goods company. From Tods, she moved to J.Crew and spent seven years in women’s merchandising, most recently as a Vice President overseeing the women’s apparel, footwear, and accessories businesses.

A native of Falmouth, Maine, Kim graduated from Dartmouth College. She sits on the board of the luxury DTC footwear brand, Sarah Flint, and is also part of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Associates Committee and Good Plus Foundation’s Friends Committee.

Jeff Saunders, SVP, Chief Technology Officer

Jeff Saunders joined Warby Parker in 2020 as Chief Technology Officer. With over 30 years of experience across a variety of business verticals, he has built high-performing teams for start-up and mature companies both public and private, including Citi, Luminary Media and Jet.com.

Jeff has assumed leadership roles in both product and technology where he's led teams that built great products, scaled technology platforms, and solved customer problems.

A native from western New York, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
